| Yes, I had a terrible time with it. When I started Atkins I couldn't go more than 2 hours without eating. Then it went up to three. I've been on Atkins since January 3, and now I don't have any of the hypoglycemia symptoms at all. I eat three meals a day, and have decaffeinated coffee with cream in the evenings. Atkins cured ALL the symptoms. But it took time. But now, while you are having the symptoms, eat whenever you need to. Usually a small meat snack with mayonnaise and a few bites of veggies will get you going again. I don't know why, but having pumpkin with pumpkin pie spice and Splenda at dinner (it's 1/2 cup from the "other vegetables" selection) seemed to help a lot, too. Good luck. This will pass if you stick faithfully to your program! |
