Re: Key differences between DANDR 2002 and Atkins for Life. | | | I really liked it because it goes in-depth on things lightly touched on in DANDR. Lots of info on different fats, and how they affect the body; which to use for cooking and which to only use cold. It is much more geared to making this a healthy "diet" for life. It certainly wouldn't be for anyone just doing Atkins to dump a bunch of weight before vacation. This is for after you have committed to make this a lifestyle change. There are lots of patient success stories with pictures. Not just the ones that lost all their weight in a couple of months. He included people with severe weight loss challenges and health challenges. I was really inspired by these people. I think you will get a lot of good from the book. I feel certain that you are on board for life and not just until you lose 50 pounds and fall off and never really get back on. | | |
