| I don't know how they taste on their own, but they were quite bun-like. Held up well under the heavy sloppy joe mix. I used the recipe I found in this thread (Induction Recipe Basics--More recipes added), in case you were interested. Oh and they smelled really nice while baking too.

| Beating by hand certainly is a good workout ![]() I have an old sprungloaded rotary hand whisk that I sometimes use if I can't be bothered to get out the electric bowl/beaters gizmo.

| I was beating by hand because I was too lazy to get out the kitchen aid!! LOL And I tried to beat with both hands but my left side was so much weaker and my form was bad I haven't seen those rotary beaters in forever....I wonder if they still make them? They would be great for the cottage.

| I tried to make them one time, but I didn't beat the egg whites long enough. Think I made "soft" peaks instead of "stiff" ones. Them they stuck you my foil I had on the pan. I am NOT a good cook. LOL. May have to give them another try sometime. |
