The pie chart is okay showing total carbs. The approximate carbohydrate percentage you should aim for during Induction, 5%, is a total carbohydrate percentage. The number is not written in blood though -- it's okay if you have some days with 3% carbs and some with 7%.

| Thanks so much! Seeing how many tools are out there to make this easier has inspired me. Between tracking and the support this board offers, I feel like this is going to be a much easier road than I thought. |

| Allie, have you "told" Fitday yet to count the fiber for you? It doesn't automatically do it. If you figured out how to do that already, If you (or anyone else out there) haven't gotten Fitday to count fiber for you, this is how you do it: On the left side of the page, is a place that you can click on to set a nutrition goal. Go there, and set a fiber goal... that is done by setting a minimum and maximum daily fiber amount. It doesn't matter which numbers you plug in... I have my minimum set as 1 and my maximum as 50... the numbers there aren't important. I just put them in, to get Fitday to count for me. After doing this, the fiber grams will show with the other totals for carbs, protein, fat. Just subtract the fiber grams from the carb grams, and you have your net carbs. Good luck to you! |

| Yes Mitzi is the best I was just going to say that the pie chart is actually doing net carbs because it is percentage of calories and the fibre has no calories.

| I think I'm getting this thing figured out. If it says I've had 20 carbs, I can still subtract my fiber and have a few more if I need to as long as I stay at 20 net, right? |
