| I am also new to the Atkins diet. Today is my 4th day, and this may be premature, but I'm hoping to see more/better results as the days go on. In 4 days I've lost about 1/2 pound. I have been eating on average about 10 or more carbs/day with the salad vegetables (some cheese) making up the majority of the carbs. I've been drinking about 4-5 glasses of water per day (which is about 4-5 more than I usually drink). I've been exercising (about 30-45 minutes a day) and eating chicken, eggs, lettuce, cucumbers, tuna and cheese primarily. No sweets, soft drinks or coffee - only water and decaf tea sweetened with 1 tsp Splenda. I've used the KetoStik and it still shows somewhere around Negative to Trace results. I'm probably going to up my salad carbs a little to get it closer to 20g - but I haven't cheated at all. I've been tracking everything I've eaten so far. Should I be seeing more results by now? |

| Its the fourth day, I wouldn't stress it. Though, cheese does stall some people. Just try not having cheese for a couple of days and see if its better =]

| Thank you! I will absolutely try laying off the cheese and add more salad vegetables and see how it helps. Just had my eggs for breakfast, drank 2 glasses of water, took my supplements and went for a jog with my dog. Still going strong! |
