| earlier today i was in an appointment with our mortgage company, as we refinanced our home... (5% wooohoo!!) anyways - in the meeting room there were cookies on a plate in the middle of the table - and holy the smell of those cookies was driving me INSANE!!!!!oh i soooooooooo wanted one - but i kept looking at it and telling myself why there was absolutely no reason to - no nutritional value whatsoever and the only thing it'd do for me is make me fat. haha. (whatever works) but yes. i was hungry after that. came home and had some blackberries!

| Ohh man.. it's so good to know that we all have been there. Bread baking,or grilled, toasted.. you name it.. It just about makes me crazy.. go for a walk do anything to avoid that alluring aroma. I do ok though.. i some how manage to get through it without a tumble off the Atkins wagon. Thing have been pretty slow going for me, but I am doing pretty well. I have my moments where I feel like.. uhh this is so hard and for what?? But I stick to it, and usually really glad and proud that I do. Keep up the Great work everyone... Hey!! Did you all see the finale for Biggest Looser tonight? Wow!! I was so proud of all of them, my heart was swelling with happiness for them.

| Donuts for me, too.........My BF ate two glazed donutes in front of me the other day and I was practically droooooooooling. But I knew I'd feel crummy, and I haven't cheated yet: didn't want to break the three week-record! I also can't go down the bread aisle in the grocery store.....it's still too soon. And I swear some days I'd kill for Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. You did the right thing! Water, Water, Water, a healthy snack, and next time just walk away. Do something different. Read a chapter in DANDR, or another inspirational book. Go for a walk. Cravings (they say) only last 10-15 minutes. Change your brain up. Good job! Rita Marie |

| The one that gets me is the smell of French Fries when I pass a McDonalds! But I know from experience that most things, especially bread and coffee, smell better than they taste so I just take a deep breath knowing I'm getting the best part of the bargain, calorie and carb free! |

| Whenever you smell those, always think: Worst Case Scenario! Those fries you smell are actually undercooked, soggy and gross. They were under the heat lamp too long and are nasty. The brownies were overcooked into a hockey puck, and require significant chewing. Eww. The donuts weren't in the heat long enough, so they're doughy and completely nasty. And all these things WERE DROPPED ON THE FLOOR!

| GeminiPrincess... I like the idea of when I feel food weakness to exercise instead or read a chapter of the dandr book! I will try to change it up like that! I was soooo close to grabbing a chocolate chip cakester cookie today but stayed strong and didn't do it. I was proud of that! And I just came back from a walk! Good tips everyone!
