| Congrats on losing 12 lbs; keep up the good work!! The appetite suppressing effects of this diet is completely normal and a wonderful sign of ketosis! It's a great thing. Unfortunately this early into atkins I can absolutely NOT recommend a cheat day... or any cheats at all. It will certainly cause cravings and can very likely cause you undermine all the successes you already have had and will certainly knock you out of ketosis... hello hunger again. I can speak from experience, where a cheat day several years ago turned into two... turned into 3... turned into gaining back ALL the weight. As you move up the rungs on OWL you will be able to add more and more foods to your diet in a healthy way without going out of ketosis. In the meantime, there is no reason you can't treat yourself with a fabulous dinner out with the bf... find a great steak place (maybe one with a fab salad bar--- my fav) you can certainly feel VERY treated and still stick with the program. Looking for desserts? Look up linda's recipe website... there are plenty of options there, many that are induction friendly... good luck!!!
