| Hi Cam, In my opinion, you can't say not to eat after a certain time. Cause like you said, everyone has different hours. I,myself, don't eat about 2 or 3 hours before I go to bed. But that's just me. I don't have the schedule that some folks have so I'm able to keep my eating schedule pretty much in check. But if you just got home and haven't eaten yet, then go ahead and eat.

| I agree with Susan. If you are hungry or six hours have passed since your last meal, then you should eat.

| even though i eat late i try not to go to bed to soon after i usually wait at least an hour or two. and i always do some kind of exercise an hour before bedtime. cam v. |

| I eat at different times than my dh who eats by the clock whether he's hungry or not! I eat when I'm hungry and I don't care what others think. If I'm hungry before bedtime, I eat but try to keep it light, like a piece of cheese or a Jello cup. |

| Like you I try not to eat anything just before dinner but my reason is because it messes with my fasting blood sugar reading. When I eat anything other than something light (string cheese is what I consider light) my fasting blood sugar is always 3 - 8 points higher. I am getting to the point where I eat more when I'm hungry then by the clock. I eat breakfast usually within an hour of getting up (I get up at 7:00a.m.) but my lunch is anywhere from 11:00 to 2:00 depending on if I'm hungry and what I'm doing around the house. Dinner is anywhere from 6:00 to 7:00 depending on when my husband gets home from work. If I have an evening snack I try not to eat it after 9:00 but like I said before it's because of my blood sugar reading.
