Default ???? Ketosis and no inches, no weight loss

Well the title says it all. I've been on Induction for two weeks now.. My tape measure is reading the same, and my scale says I'm down a pound. I'm not doing anything different to the other times I've done Atkins and pretty much aware of the do and don'ts.. and normally don't have to much problem. But it seems that I'm abit lost this time?????? and starting to loose a bit of faith.

I drink 10 to 12 pints of water a day
I do execise, cardio moderatly
I was on antibiotics the first week
I was due TOM about 4 days ago but it hasn't arrived (well sort of did but then stopped just as suddenly) - and (on the pill so abit confused there)
No additional salt added and I watch my sodium levels
My BM have been almost non existant...
My ketostix are constantly reading some form of colour... and my breathe is definatly not been the best

Any suggestions...??? Anything to keep my plodding..

Oh dear sorry to hear this. Hang in there.
I am thinking that there are several things going on
-the antibiotics may have set you back a bit
-the TOM around the corner may be making you retain water (it does with me - I avoid the scale around that time - I don't need that kind of discouragement at all)
-the constipation may be an issue. Are you getting all your veggies in? They help with constipation. If the veggies are not enough you will have to take something to try and get things moving. Atkins suggests several fibre supplements in his book. Are you trying one of those?

The whooshie fairy will be with you soon. Just a couple of things that piled up for you there.

You have lost 54 lbs? Are you starting induction after being off of Atkins for awhile? or are you continuing and have just gone back to induction?

It does seem maybe I started up again at the wrong time .... and I think I will try up my veg abit more (although I am definately getting them in)..
I've also got some flax seed which I think I may try get down me today and see if that is any help.
As for TOM.. very confusing.. it should have been with me 4 or 5 days ago.. literally started, stopped and nothing since... and now on my pill cycle it should have come and gone by now.. so looks like thats that for the month.. hmmmm
Oh well, nothing to do except plod plod plod...

Thanks that would be fab... a basic day..

3 egg omlette with 2oz cheese and half a tomato, and a couple of mushrooms fried.. with a spoon of mayo (hellmans)

Chicken leg x 2 with garlic mayo on some spinach, cucumber, olives, and a slice of onion

Mince cooked with peppers, 2oz cheese, mayo and a cup of cauliflour ,with butter, garlic sprinkle and pepper (or chicken, pork, beef, fish)... and some cup of veg.. ie broccoli

12 pints of water

1 cup of decaf coffee, with double thick cream (although cut this out now incase this is the culprit)

PS - and my stix are constantly in some form of light colour

I stopped for a short while from Atkins, so had to pick up and start from scratch again.. hence Induction.. I'm just starting to wonder if maybe my body is getting use to starting and stopping.. hmmmm???

I think this menu is fine. You are a bit off on the veggies. You seem to be eating too many veggies from the "other list"
And don't forget plenty of water. Helps with getting the fat loss going and helps with constipation.

Don't feel bad or give up! I went 5 weeks in ketosis, 1 lb finally lost this week, but the exciting part was that I just woke up one morning and my jeans were baggy! So it can be inches instead of pounds! I feel like that commercial years ago that the pones were just laying on the ground and someone found them! Giggles!
