| Bodies, they tell us, do have 'set points' they don't like to go below, but certainly these aren't set in stone I am sure. It just may take a while. But why not try exercising to tone and whittle? Along with your good Atkins program of course, it sounds like you have been smashingly successful!

| Yea I think I've heard that before. Well, even if I don't lose anymore I'm mostly just doing it to support my husband. I'd LIKE to go lower, but if my body says no, it says no. As far as working out goes...well, that's a love hate relationship...and the hate usually takes over after about a week. lol. I can stick to a diet, but I can't stick to a workout plan! Some people are weaker than others in certain areas I guess. lol Thanks for your help! |

| Whoa no, definitely not! I like food way to much to ever have an eating disorder thats for sure! I know my BMI says I'm normal, but my views of me in a bathing suit say something totally different. I guess it's just something I'm just not going to be able to fix with weight loss alone. Oh the dreaded treadmill and weight machines....damn them! |

| From what people write on the forums doing heavy weight lifting (something like the 'slow burn' routine for about 20 minutes a few times a week) is supposed to do more for changing your body shape than just doing cardio like a treadmill workout.

| Ya know, I could probably do that. My husband and I both enjoy lifting and we have the weight set in the garage collecting dust. Great idea! Thanks so much! |
