| Oh, crap! The milk... Well, depending on your metabolic resistance, it might have kicked you out of ketosis. It's impossible to say really. In any case, don't start over. Finish your 14 days of Induction and then decide what you're going to do next. Just keep in mind when you determine your degree of metabolic resistance that the results might be skewed towards a higher resistance. Also watch out for cravings in the next few days, as you don't know at this point what effect that amount of milk will have on you. Other than that, you should be fine. Congrats for the lbs lost!

| How badly did I screw up...I am so worried...I just know I am going to be completely strict...from my next meal. I guess 8 lbs this week isnt bad...I am just worried now. Daily....I have a variation of this... Breakfast: 2 eggs, with half a cup of mushrooms sauteed in olive oil and 2 strips of bacon snack: Cheese for a snack Lunch: Grilled fish with paprika or lunch meat and two tomatoe slices and a piece of cheese Snack: Jello for a snack with some whipped cream or another ounce of cheese Dinner: Two thin pork chops, and a slice or two of tomtoes with 2 tablespoons of mayo There are variations of that...but thats an example of my typical day.,,, The sometimes my snack may be some pork rinds and tuna with mayo,,,,etc. What do you guys think of that...and I only drink water. Typically 9 to 12 cups per day by te time I go to sleep. ---then my excercise is a 2 mile early morning jog/walk and then a 2 or 3 mile one right before bed.

Your menu needs more veggies. You should be eating 3 cups a day, either 3 cups of salad vegetables OR 2 cups of salad vegetables and 1 cup of vegetables from the "Other Vegetables" list. Are your percentages around 65% fat, 5% carbs and 30% protein? That's what you should be aiming for during Induction. You can use FitDay, DailyPlate or some similar online tool to figure this out.

| Wait... Is "jello", Jell-O? If it is, it has aspartame, which can slow down or stall your weight loss (the "stall" part clearly does not apply to you). So if you want to maximize your results, it's better to avoid it "whenever possible", as Dr. Atkins recommended in DANDR.

| Your menu is pretty good. You are not quite following the rules for how to eat veggies correctly. You need 2 cups of veggies from the salad list and one cup from "the other" list. If your jello is sweetened with aspartame that can be an issue. Some people cannot lose with that sweetener. Good work on the exercise and water. That is great. Yes induction flue can be a bit taxing but it is short.

| Well the Jell-o, I have only had twice this week and it was 3 spoonfuls because I just did'nt feel like it, so I will just cut it out. I notice the added veggies really made me "gassy" and I have a sensitive GI tract with my celiac disease. So, I will try adding something things over the weekend when I can afford to feel a bit run down. lol. Not saying I will, but you never know. Sometimes I will wrap the lunch meat with two slices of Romaine lettuce... Gahhh...I just want to do this right! You guys are great..

| Does the same happen when you eat cooked vegetables?
