| It is very normal to see a bit of a pause in the second or/and third week. But after that things will get moving again. This happened to me too. Yes those body fat scales are a bit iffy. If you are feeling good. Eating regular meals and having a snack if you have to. I would not worry about eating too little. If you want you can share a detailed day's menu with amounts with us and we could see what we think. Carbs have to be counted for sure. Do you have a carb counter? Have you tried a program like fitday. Maybe it can help you (FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal) I would watch the cheese - no more that 4 oz per day. And I would keep away from those bars. Known as stallers.

Are you careful not to go over your cheese limit of 3-4 oz per day? Did you check what's in the summer sausage and in the dressing? I would be surprised if all the ingredients in the sausage were legal. Quote:
22 g carbohydrate 10 g glycerol 10 g dietary fiber 2 g sugar Glycerol is supposedly not affecting blood sugar levels, so it can be subtracted from the total carbs. Yet, FDA ruled that it does not have to be listed on the label. The problem is that some people do metabolize those carbs as sugar, so they can have an impact on blood sugar levels. Check the ingredients in the bars. All the peanut bars contain peanuts, so they are not allowed during Induction, as per rule #5 in the Rules of Induction (DANDR, Chapter 11): Quote:

I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
