| I think the hokey pokey would do it... What you are seeing is normal. A stall is defined as 4 consecutive weeks without any weight loss or loss of inches, so you're certainly not stalling. Weight/inches will come off at their own pace and you should not expect to see a loss every day or even every week. By the way, how often do you weigh yourself? Some folks do better if they only weigh once a week (not that I'm one of them, just saying... If you are exercising at a level you weren't used to before, your muscles are probably retaining some fluid too, so that will add to your weight.

I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | Don't despair.... Your body is going through some major changes right now... Just be sure that you are eating your veggies and drinking your water.. i find that if i slack on either of those i get stuck briefly.... try posting a menu and the many gurus here can help you with that too.. Just be assured that this way of life works and will work for you.. patience is truly a virtue in the atkins world for some of us that are just slow losers it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with what you are doing!!! good luck!

| Thank you! I think I expected a drop after my period/constipation issues and was disappointed when it didn't show up. I know better, but sometimes you just get a little impatient and a little down when things don't work out the way you imagined. I am feeling much better today, and it does help to know that this is not abnormal. And hey, I'm still down a few pounds, I feel great, and I am healthier than I was 3 weeks ago! Where's the problem? And, it looks like I won't have to dance naked in public, after all! Thanks so much for your support! Cheers.

| Just wanted to say - keep at it and don't give up! I had a big chunk of no-scale-movement in my second and third weeks (depressing!). But then I lost a pound at the end of the third week and one more in the fourth week. I think if you keep at it, you will see results!
