| Yep- me too!. I lost my first 30 lbs relatively easily- no cheats- good exercise etc... The last 10 tho... I'm trying desperately to regain exercise motivation, allowing myself to eat too much, avoiding this board, -just a general freakout. however, I do see improvement in my day-to-day habits lately and I'm here more often. Why the freakout? My latest theory is that if I achieve my goal, I also have to carry the weight of maintaining my goal and my new lifestyle- which we all know isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. But working on it day-by-day- tomorrow I weigh myself- THAT should definitely provide motivation. |

| I don't think it's getting into the 100's... I think perhaps you are feeling subconscious about how people are going to react to you at the reunion... It can be very embarrassing to have all that attention from everyone, like you discovered uranium or something... Then they all want details and it can be very stressful... I started around the same time as you and thoughts of cheating have been popping up too... Perhaps it is like post-induction stall syndrome which hits from 2-4 weeks... Perhaps post induction 2 month cheat syndrome has hit... |

| Cheat syndrome - hmmmm. Maybe there is such a thing. But I think that cheating is about will power. You can overcome it. Perhaps some of our anxiety about body weight is tied up with the fact that we gave it so much power. Like If only I am thin I will be happy If only I am thin I will have good friends If only I am thin I will concur all my fears etc. And well as we get closer we may realize that it is not just our body that need to somehow heal as we work through Atkins but we really have to learn to like ourself for who we are whatever that may be. OK I am going to stop channeling Dr. Phil now
