| How much spinach do you put in your shake? I love the "breakfast nog" shakes, too (so easy) but I don't add protein powder. When is protein powder allowed? I do put in EVCO and ground flax meal. |

As long as you are enjoying what you're doing there's really no reason to add protein powder. I add them because I can't stand the taste of the devinci syrups.

) Why do you use the davinci syrups if you don't like them? |

| I've used spinach in fruit smoothies before but never thought about using it in a chocolate smoothie. I'll give it a try...I couldn't even taste it when I'd add a handful or two to the fruit smoothies I used to drink. I'm not a huge meat eater, so getting protein is a bit of a challenge for me and I was hoping this big chunk of protein in the morning would help up my intake for the day...with everything in my shake I'm getting around 35 grams of protein. I've read a couple of articles that suggest getting at least 20 grams of protein for breakfast. Do you think I'm overdoing it with all that protein in the morning? Maybe I'll cut back on an egg and some of the protein powder? |

Is there a reason that you don't just use splenda or stevia to sweeten, rather than the syrups? |

I would say yes. It really looks very substantial I suggest cutting down on some things. Some of the fat and some of the protein. Either protein powder or eggs - not both. Either coconut fat or cream - not both. (And it is looking to me like more than 6 carbs but a quick look but I had to run it through fitday to be sure)
