| To answer your question, yes, you will lose more if you exercise, and you'll almost certainly lose it more quickly. No one can tell you how much you'll lose, how fast, by when, etc. Everyone's body is different. Sorry we can't give you more than that. I also don't know what effect those "diet pills" will have on your short/long term health or how they make you feel. That's your personal decision. After 2 months+ on Atkins, I couldn't imagine taking anything "extra" for energy. I'm amped up enough on this way of eating, and have plenty of energy. |

| Yes but between the pills the WOE and the exercise you may also very well burn out quickly. Whats the huge rush, why not do it safely and steadily? |

| If you are consuming the same number of carbs/calories as without exercise, then you will most likely lose more weight. However, I've done some extensive research on the impact of weight loss through swimming, and across the board the consensus seems that swimming is far less effective than other activities for weight loss. Seems bizarre right? But there have been many studies conducted comparing overweight people Walking, Cycling & Swimming using the same level of exertion, and the swimmers lost little (even gained!), compared to a substantial loss from the cyclists and walkers. Something to consider... I love to swim, but don't count it as part of my workout routine. Good luck! |

There was a definite impact. It was less dramatic with running and cardio, but there was a difference there too. Maybe my experience isn't common and other people are just fine, but my strength and stamina are decreased on a low carb diet. I'm not a paid athelete, though, so I don't really care about that as long as my bikini fits well. |

Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again. |

| My advice would be to do it by the book. This would mean follow the plan and add exercise. But in my experience exercise will not necessarily speed up anything. It will make you feel better. It will build and maintain your muscles while you lose fat, it will reshape and tone your body and because you have more muscles exercise will in the long run help you improve metabolism so you can better maintain your lower weight when you get there.

| jpark7 do this it should help alot 1. Stop takeing diet pills they cause liver damage and who the heck knows what els 2. drain the glucose from your muscles this greatly helps with fat loss in order to drain the glucose from your muscles you must exercise all your muscles and you dont have to do tons of reps but as heavy weight as possible is better in other words go to a gym and lift weights 3. learn how to lift heavy weights for example learn how to do squats and maybe do thigh extensions and leg curls before doing squats so you dont hurt your knees ask people for help on how to lift weights like trainers at the gym and such tell them you want to work out full body every last muscle and dont want to waste time on unnecessary cardio dont forget your abbs also cardio can be good at the gym but for like 7-10 mins on the max resistance you can go to burn the glucose out and remmber dont cheat when lifting weights if you cheat then your not working out that muscle but rather the muscle you are cheating with like your back or abbs or something 4. make sure you eat some protein every 3 hours whey protein drinks can help but make sure you find a good brand since you only are eating 20 net carbs a day and not 50-60 you gotta get that protein in your body every 3 hours about 57% of protein can be converted to glucose to fuel muscles and brain and it does not spike blood sugar levels so it will effectively build your muscles and tone your body to look very sexy and never eat soy soy is very bad and dont eat aspartame or polyunsaturated omega 3 vegetable oils 5. what ever you do dont talk to gym trainers about your diet 6. 58-68% fat 30-42% protein should be around the food ratios you eat get a gym trainer to wright up a routine for you and again make sure it is not overloaded with cardio you want to work on your muscles 7. remmber weight loss is not everything i see girls at the gym who are super skinny and dont look all that hot there faces are pale and they look very malnourished and they never smile then i see the smarter girls who have very sexy toned muscles and eat properly they look ALOT better and they always smile edit: oh just realized you just started induction maybe you should eat 65-70% fat 25-30% protein 20 net carbs and just take it easy for the first month and do the light cardio like you said untill your body fully switches its metabolism and your muscles become insulin sensitive then you can start working out hard |

Now, I exercise about 2 hours a day - 1 hour of that is walking - and I'm at 30 grams of carbs per day, and have plenty of energy. The other hour is spent doing weights or spinning. I would drop the diet pills....Atkins is the only diet pill you need
