Ebay would be your best best to sell these items.

Hi Skinnygirlintransit, I sell things on Ebay alot. Since joining the ADBB, I have seen the great inspirational photos and read alot of posts. I see that there are some ladies moving down in size that may find my former size clothes useful. Also I read Tom's "Top 10 things you should do if your new" and he said to place your clothes on the Classifieds. Tom told me he would like to see more people using the Classifieds here. I would purchase clothing here in smaller sizes too. I buy clothes from EBay all the time and if I found something I liked or needed, I'd to buy it here.

I guess if you don't mind hanging onto them for a while until you find a buyer, then it works. Frankly though, ebay has many millions of visitors daily whereas adbb has a couple thousand at most and how many check out the classifieds? In terms of pure volume ebay can't be beat! Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestion Skinnygirlintransit, I'll leave Ebay as another option and may list some items in both places. I like the ladies I've corresponded with on this site and happily offer my clothes to them first. Also, if it will help Tom to get people to remember the classified and use it thats neat too! There are alot of sites that don't offer a classified, its a nice addition to ADBB.

I think it's fantastic that you're using the classifieds. I fully intend to do the same when the time comes. Why sell the clothes to some schmuck stranger, when you can instead sell them to someone that you know and want to see succeed?

LOL @ 'schmuck stranger' Too funny... We're all pretty much strangers on ADBB, just aiming for the same goal. Someone you've never encountered that buys an item from you here is any more of a friend than a similar 'schmuck' on ebay...

I mean, that's certainly true - we are all technically strangers. No one should just assume that a buyer is going to, in fact, transfer the money over, etc. We should still keep all general internet sale precautions in mind. But I think the classifieds section is one way to build a community, and I also would personally rather buy clothing or something like that from someone on here than on eBay. I'm sure that if no one purchases the clothing from her on ADBB, she'll put it on eBay or Craigslist or whatever. I just don't want to discount something that isn't really a bad thing. EDIT: and thanks about the schmuck stranger thing, you can totally use it!
