| 1. its alright to drink decaf tea w/ splenda imo, but it doesnt count toward water intake. 2. yep. 2-3 cups of veggies a day. every day. 3. stick to what works for you till it doesn't work anymore. I stuck mostly to lettuce till I got sick of it, and now i'm actually ok with eating celery and cucumbers. you should try jicama too, its pretty good. but you only have to eat 2 cups of salad veggies if you eat 1 cup from the other list. 4. I want to say green beans are on the other veggie list, but i'd double check with the printable food list sticky. 5. i think losing something like 5-10% of what you need to lose is average for induction. but keep in mind the first few days of that is just water. 6. technically i think you can eat all beef hot dogs (i know i have a couple times) but fillers in processed foods are not our friends. depending how sensitive you are to it it can stall you. And 1 carb ketchup is a no-no unless you make your own zero-carb kind from scratch. 7. same as above with the processed food. I ate pepperoni all the time my first time on atkins. I can't do it anymore. so i'd say try at your own risk.

| -Make sure that your cheese is "real" cheese, not processed cheese slices. -Check the ingrdients for your salad dressing - make sure there is no sugar. -Make sure there is no sugar in your bacon - and any other processed food you buy (pepperoni). 64 oz of plain water is MINIMUM. That's water with nothing in it. Make sure you eat at least every 6 hours. 2 meals a day isn't enough. Try the veggies you think you don't like again - people's tastes change over time. Also - try them prepared different ways - sauteed mushrooms/bell peppers, cold with dip, mixed in chicken salad, hidden in meatloaf

| Take out the peanuts! That's owl rung 3? I'd also cut back on the cheese and definitely up the fats! It helps so much. Turns you into a fat burnin' machine lol. YES! Eat the 3 cups of veggies. Do not eat the hotdogs and ketchup. I would avoid hot dogs and pepperoni. I think you might be ok with pepperoni from the deli, but I'd stay away from the hot dogs. I think that's something you should only ever eat in an emergency lol.

| Well, it looks like kibskix and the others covered it all. Now you know what you need to do, and do yourself a favor and stay off the scale until the 2 weeks are up. You will seesaw around a lot as your body adjusts and it can make you crazy. |

| check your blue cheese dressing. Some of them have many more carbs than others. Also, I wouldn't skip meals. Atkins wrote that he doesn't recommend going more than 6 hours without food during your waking hours. 2 egg whites doesnt' sound like a very healthy breakfast to me (there's no fat in egg whites, either). How about making scrambled eggs? Could you eat the yolk that way? or maybe an omelet. And are you sure you're drinking enough water? And it doesn't look like you're coming close to the 3 cups of veggies that you're supposed to be eating every day. I hope you figure it out and see some progress soon. |

| Tuesday B - 2 hard-boiled eggs (whites only - don't like yolk) L - Grilled chicken, cheese and tomato D - Bacon, cheese and tomato S - Peanuts and all the other days im worried about your Grilled chicken it sounds like its low in fat try to eat chicken skin too and atleast 1 green vegetable like broccoli in your salads if its just lettuce lettuce isnt much of a vegetable so you should add a stronger green vegetable to it you must eat around 65% fat 30% protein 5% carbs ( 20 net carbs ) by looking at your food it does not look like you are eating enough fat if you dont eat enough fat your metabolism will take longer to switch to a fat burning metabolism and or will slow down and you will feel crappy you can also eat 75% fat 22% protein 2-3% carbs too remmber high fat medium protein low carb and if you do full body exercise you can eat high fat high protein low carb and ya like what people have already said Take out the peanuts! That's owl rung 3 food and you MUST eat egg yolks. just egg whites are not healthy at all a whole egg is 61% fat one of the best foods you can eat and make sure you drink atleast 64 ounces of water a day if you want you can calculate your food % fat/protein/carb here http://www.fitday.com/fitness/ProfileSignUp.html |

Veggies are supposed to be a big part of the diet. Try to find something on the list that you can munch on. I like lettuce with dressing, cole slaw with mayo, celery with cream cheese, pumpkin with butter and cream cheese, sliced cucumbers and sliced tomatoes. Be careful about tomatoes, they have more carbs than lettuce etc... Green beans (string beans) are allowed. You are supposed to lose between 5-10% of the total that you want to lose during induction... (I lost 7% in the 14 day period) Hot dogs and pepperoni are allowed on induction... however don't eat too much processed meats as they are high in sodium and can cause water retention. I would stay away from the ketchup. You can use mayo or mustard... Enter all of your foods into fitday.com each day so that you know how much fat/calories/carbs/fiber etc... you are eating... Keep up the great work, you are definitely on the right track |

| It also looks like you may not be getting enough food. Definitely need a more substantial supper with more protein and fats in it. Keep working on it. You'll get there.
