Default normal blood sugar levels on this WOE?

I was wondering if any of you experts, or diabetics out there have any idea what a normal range of blood sugar should be while on this WOE. I know normal blood sugar levels should be between 70-150, but that they would be on the lower end and steadier for someone on Atkins. Question is how low is too low? I've been monitoring my blood sugar for a while and when I was off plan I averaged around 120-130, with a fasting level of around 90 most days. Now I've been back on plan for a week and I feel ok, but when I test my blood sugar it seems awfully low. I noticed it was 82 earlier in the day a little while after eating a baked chicken breast and half a zuchinni with a small green salad...and later tonight I tested at 63, which kind of scares me since I learned in school that anything under 50 could be a medical emergency. So here I am eating a salad with greens, a couple cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and olive oil before bed because I am afraid if I went to sleep with a sugar that low, it could be dangerously low when I wake up, if I wake up lol....what do you guys think???

Now I have been eating according to plan with my veggies spread out evenly through out the day with no weird hidden carb crap or anything...I don't post much on here but I'm not new to this WOE and I have read the book several times over...

I would go by how you FEEL, not the number... Anything under 70 for me gives me the shakes... obviously for you that number doesn't have the same effect... everyone is different...

Since you have started on Atkins have you had any symptoms of low blood sugar?

thanks for the input....as far as "feeling" hypoglycemic...not shaky or lightheaded or anything but perhaps a bit of irritability...that could be normal though lol.

I agree with Megs. Call your doctor and find out what they think you need to do. They may raise or lower your medicine (what medicine are you on?)

Also, have you been diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes and watching your blood sugar? How much water do you drink daily? How may meals do you eat daily? After you talk to your doctor you may want to post a few days meals on the Rate my Menu area of the board to see if anyone can see anything that may help.
