Talking Finally!!! I got over a weight hump!

Ok. So for a month now I had not moved a pound. I kind of had a few occasions where I had a little more carbs than allowed but then I would go right back to my normal routine. I never gained any weight but I never lost, even after being on my same regimen of eating. But for whatever reason, I FINALLY went down from 170 to 169, sometimes 168!! I could not believe my eyes! I am so happy.

I have worked so hard for all of my little milestones but they are all so important to me. No matter how small the weight loss, in my book its a huge accomplishment. Cant wait to get to my next mini-goal 165!

Thank you so much Carol! I really appreciate the reinforcement. I think we can all use a little encouragement once in a while. Thanks again!

That is encouraging-good for you, I was weighing in all the time, but now its not just about losing weight anymore (although its a major plus!!) Slow and steady wins the race!!!

Good for you for waiting it out! That is the hardest part and can be very frustrating but as you can see it did finally happen and now it is on to the next goal.

Thanks so much you guys for the congrats. It really means a lot to have people that know what i'm going through. It is never easy to be stuck at a certain weight for a long period of time but I feel that as long as I am doing what is right, then I have no problems waiting for the weight to adjust itself. I really know the meaning of what living one day at a time is. Its taken me a long time to really take this way of eating one day at a time but I feel that everyday that I eat the right way is another goal that I have met, not that I have not had my moments but I have had more good than bad. So yes Jill, on to my next goal!

I can totally relate to what your saying i didn't lose anyweight for 4 weeks used to weigh in daily and get really frustrated but eventually lost a lb and at that moment even that 1lb brings us so much joy.We just have to hang in there and wait its better not to loseany than putting some on!Congrats on re-losing keep going i think your at a stage like me where its slowed down.

Seraphine, it's the little things that make life worth living! Congrats!

I'm a slow loser, so you'd better believe I claim every 1/2 pound as soon as possible. Thanks for posting on your success - it's very encouraging!
