| Lisa- Congratulations on getting back on track. I am new here but certiantly not new to weight loss attempts. Getting back on track is a major accomplishment and you should feel proud. Please don't beat yourslef up over the brief detour rather congratulate yourself on finding your way back to the main road. Destination healthy here you come!

| I agree and you should be very proud to acknowledge your moment of weakness and get right back on track! I too cheated yesterday and although I am soo mad at myself, I'm glad that this morning I realized I didn't cheat anyone BUT MYSELF and really, the illegal foods were NOT worth this. I wrote down exactly how eating that food made me feel so next time I am tempted I can just go back and remember how bad it made me feel. Not only emotionally, but also physically. And the only reason I even went off track was because I went out to eat with my boyfriend. That's something I don't do often and now I will be doing even less frequently since it triggers something in me to eat stuff I would never eat at home. Keep up the good work though! Many people don't even consider starting over again after cheating! |

| Good girl!!! Lose the guilt, learn the lesson! Just remember how awful those things made you feel. I cheated on Easter and never looked back since. I remember how horrible I felt. The stomach upset, the guilt, the 3 hour nap after eating the crap. Take the knowledge of the lesson learned with you and the whole experience wasn't useless! It's certainly more costly than delaying your goal, there are so many other negative aspects of cheating that most people never realize until they do it! |

| Learning these lessons is all part of changing our WOE and way of life! We are all making major changes to the way we live our lives...we will make mistakes - and sometimes, we will stray...test the limits...as long as we learn from our mistakes and get back on track, we are stronger for our moments of weakness. Now you know you have to watch your sweeteners & cream more closely...they are your challenges. I have to be careful to get my veggies in - I tend to get less than I should when I don't pay close attention. My lesson learned - I lose more when I eat my veggies! Congrats on realizing that you were slipping - and getting back on track. Thanks for sharing - this will help lots of people.

| Lisa, one thing I have already learned is that the problem isn;t within us, it's the sugar. Just get back on induction and the cravings will go away. It's true: many of us here (like me) are especially prone to food binging and the pleasure we get from eating. In some ways we are like alcoholics in that we can't even have "that one drink" , or more appropriately "a half of a bagel" |
