Default 100% success is this guarenteed?

Ok i just want to know if you follow this plan 100% are you guarenteed to lose weight? im not saying all my weight and in a quick time but overall are you secure in thinking if you do this 100% you will get the results you want in the end. for example if you weight yourself today and then did this diet for a year and didnt weight until then, how sure are you that you wont put on weight? that is my biggest fear and thats why im always addicted to the scales. which is also my downfall.

The answer to your question is YES! I'm positive I'll continue to lose weight and see improved health over the next year. It's not a fad, there is science behind this WOE.

I think anyone who has ever had to deal with being overweight or obese will always feel a bit of a struggle with the scale. That's the way it is. I, too, am a scale addict. I'll probably always have a love/hate relationship with it. It's my job to focus on keeping that relationship on the "love" side!

Thumbs up Re: 100% success is this guarenteed?

I did this diet about 10 years ago and I easily dropped from 220 to 165, of course since then I've been thru many things and I'm back up to 200, I'm finally getting myself into gear and started yesterday, I'm hoping to get there again maybe even less. It's rough at first the sugar cravings are intense but I know have learned that If I keep sugar free jello around it helps my sweet tooth.

Hi focus i agree anyone that stuck to the diet like me for a year will definately lose the weight we can go through different stages of the diet and when were satisfied we need to go onto the next level to maintain the weight. The diet is so good that theres different stages and when you put on the weight its because the maintenance stage was not followed basically all those who went to carbs and broke the diet put the weight back on so its best to lose it and maintain it.The diets never to blame its individuals you need willpower to stick to it.Hope im making sense.

great thanks for the replies. basically ive not been losing and keep losing and gaining 1-2lbs and so i keep jumping on the scales to make sure ive not regained any more. i know this is not healthy though. i want to go for long periods without doing this but am scared that i might regain the weight ive lost and more. i guess i just want to see how much confidence other people have in this dieting working without worrying about weight gain. hope that makes sense.

I'm stuck in a similar vicious cycle at the moment. My weight dropped to an all-time low about two weeks ago, then TOM arrived and my weight has been between 2 and 5 pounds higher every day. TOM is over and my weight still hasn't dropped down to where it was before, so I keep jumping on the scale, trying to figure out what on earth is going on.

I used to go months without weighing myself, so this new obssession stinks.

And FWIW, I remember when I first did Atkins many years ago, I spent the first couple of weeks being a total nervous nellie because I couldn't understand how I could eat meat and cheese and lose weight. It just didn't make sense to me and I was terrified that I'd pack on pounds.
