dextrose is sugar - so is evaporated cane juice that is in some of the true drinks. There are some make with stevia that would be OK as long as you are within the three sweeteners allowed per day. Orange juice that is some of them would not be OK. In my mind if you want lemon in your water why not just add real lemon?

| you can float lemon or lime slices on top of your water for extra flavor if you need it....have you checked the ingredients in crystal light???? All chemicals - so that's why I always tell people to float slices in water instead...no chemicals in them! Here’s the breakdown for a 2.1 oz cannister of Crystal Light Lemonade flavor: Ingredients: Citric Acid, Potassium and Sodium citrate, aspartame, magnesium oxide, natural flavor, lemon juice solids, acesulfame potassium, artifical color, yellow 5 Lake, and BHA.

One day I was kind of wanting lemonade, so I just put some lemon juice in my water, along with a little bit of splenda. You might have to play around with the amount of lemon/splenda you use (remembering to count them towards your daily totals). Last time I wanted lemonade (yes, I like lemonade lol), I just used splenda and unsweetened lemonade kool aid packet. I have done both of those once only..so it isn't something I do often.

I'm glad you don't do the sugar free kool-aid often or the lemon-aid often .... here are the ingredients in the grape sugarfree kool aid...pretty much the same ingredients for all flavors except the flavoring -- once again -- chemicals and the sugar free koolaid has aspartame also!! malic acid maltodextrin citric acid calcium phosphate aspartame salt acesulfame potassium and less than 2% of: artificial flavor ascorbic acid (vitamin c) red #40 Blue #1 that's grape sugar free kool-aid.

Thanks for the info Carole. I do try to keep it pure and simple..as much as I can. I noticed today in the store there was little flavored splenda packets. Similar to the ones made for coffee but these are made for water. I tried the coffee ones ![]()

that pound or 2 gained is most likely just water retention caused by some ingredient in the water, it's very hard to gain 1 kilo of fat in a day
