| If you are hungry - eat something legal. Your appetite will subside in a few days. If you aren't at your daily limit (3-4oz) of cheese, I find cheese makes a filling snack. Meat is good too Ignore the cravings - they will go away! Be extra careful that you aren't eating ANY sugar - that will cause cravings for sweets - check the ingredients listed on everything you buy/eat. The more you stay completely legal, the faster the cravings will go away. Avoid caffeine/aspertame (I even avoided splenda on induction because I am such a sweet monster!)

| Eat legal food if you are hungry. This is the turning point tomorrow should be a little better and two days from now you will feel totally different. Don't cave. Cmon tell yourself that you are not that weak that you can't go one more day without carbs. DO THIS. You won't be sorry! Take it from those of us who have been there. |

| when you are hungry make sure you get some fat into what you eat - dip that chicken into mayo - the fat will keep you from feeling hungry longer than anything else. Get up and do something when you think you're hungry - most times you are thirsty not hungry, so drink a large glass of water then go for a walk or do some type of exercise. Good luck

| Hey...What are you craving for? Anything specific? Because there are sooo many alternatives to the things that we all want..and it's easy to find substitutes online. Let me know if there's something specific..we can see if we can find an alternative for ya! Hang in there...remember the 1st few weeks are the most important (or so I hear) in getting that jumpstart and getting rid of cravings |

| Your hunger is totally normal. I've done Induction twice and both times I spent the first few days starving as my body worked out the cravings. No matter how many "legal" foods I ate, I was still hungry. A friend of mine who did Atkins experienced the same thing. That first week is really tough but if you can make it through, the constant hunger will go away, I promise! Good luck! |

| Once your insulin levels drop the hunger will go away till it is really time to eat.It takes time.An easy way is to keep carbs extremely low and eat high fat.It will take a while so be patient.I now eat every 12 hours and have no hunger in between.I eat till I feel full, not stuffed.Heavy on the fat and nothing tastes sweet.It sure makes it easy. |
