| Welcome to the cephalic responders team. You could try other sweeteners and see which you can tolerate, if any. I tried pretty much anything other than sugar alcohols like xylithol and they just don't agree with me. Stevia, in tiny amounts, is usually okay, but I avoid that one too (didn't have any in months). The thing is, after you stop having sweeteners for a while, your taste buds will change and things like red peppers will taste sweet. Same thing with berries and other foods. They won't taste so sweet that you get cravings from them, just sweet enough so that you don't need to use artificial sweeteners.
