| Used to track them in FitDay and in a food journal (the old fashioned pen & paper kind, not an online food journal). Lately I've been only tracking them in my food journal.

| I used to use FitDay daily track everything I put in my mouth. I highly recommend doing this when you first begin the program as it is often amazing to realize what you are consuming once you see it on "paper." However, once I got used to what amounts of foods I could eat within my carb range, I used FitDay less and less, mainly because it was harder to use when making recipes and knowing exact quantities of ingredients, portions, etc. I have learned what foods get me in trouble and accepted how they may be used in my diet. Nuts, cream and cheese get me into trouble so I have limited myself to using them only in recipes to stay on the losing track. (No cheese as a snack item - too easy to eat an 8 oz block in one sitting when I do that!)

| I use Fitday -- when putting food in I use the raw version then add the oil I've used because I have no idea how they are preparing the foods....I also put a lot of foods in custom so I know what I'm eating I am actually tracking correctly. I measure everything, that way I can see if I need to tweak anything.

| I was a FitDay user as well, which prompted me to make something better since it was not perfect for Atkins. The great thing about Carb Tracker is that it calculates Net Carbs for every item in the database. It allows you to set your daily goal Net Carbs, water intake, and even weight start and end goal. |
