Default Is it possible to eat to little carbs?

Just looked over my 2 week introduction and reviewed my weight loss numbers and my carb counts for the day... and really noticed a couple of things and wanted to see if there is some "science" behind them.

First week I lost the most, 9.2 lbs...
Second week I lost .2 (had actually lost 1lb, but with TOM equaled to .2lbs)
Total Introduction lost is 9.4 lbs

Somethings...
1st week had lemonade everyday almost (3TBSP lemon juice and 2 packets splenda) also had cauliflower everyday almost for lunch, it is one of Linda's recipes that is like a casserole and I love it.. I doubled the cauliflower and think I ate about 9 carbs from it per serving. (I believe this is more then allowed on introduction, but I'll be fine since I'm moving up).... summary lemonade and enough carbs (closer to the 20 grams daily)

2nd week, no lemonade except 1 day, also didn't do well with veggies.. had some, but not alot and my percentages were okay, but it seemed overal food intack was a little low and like I said really missed on some of the veggies...

I had thought it was TOM and thought it could be my B/C pills, but now that I really analize it, it seems my body NEEDS/MEANING HAS TO HAVE a certain amount of carbs to loose weight, is this possible? Also I always read that lemon juice burns fat, but does it really work?

There are 2.6 carbs in 1 oz of lemon juice. Then you need to add 1 in for the packet of sweetner. Does that help explain anything?

Weight loss isn't linear - some people lose more weight on the first week of induction, some on the second - I lost 10 my first week and 4 my second - no major changes. I suspect that the number of carbs/day the first & second weeks had less to do with it than losing water weight the first week due to entering ketosis.

That being said, some people lose better on OWL Rung 1 than induction, when they add more veggie carbs, some people lose better on less carbs. I just wouldn't put too much emphasis on the 1st vs. second week because the time period for each is too small to be scientifically significant, and the loss of water weight (which happens at the beginning of most diets) would skew the results.

I'd just try to follow the rules of induction as closely as possible (including the 3 cups of veggies every day) - it works

Congrats on planning to move up the rungs - it teaches good eating habits, something that most of us are lacking

You can eat too few veggie carbs. That's why you are supposed to eat 3 cups of salad veggies (not just lettuce) or 2 cups salad veggies and 1 cup (measured raw) from the "other" list.

A lot of us stayed on induction too long, thinking that would make us lose weight faster. Not so. When we finally moved up to rung 1, extra induction veggies, the weight started coming off faster.

Lemon juice has a diuretic effect, so you release water weight, but it doesn't have any properties to actually "burn fat."
