Default I am such a child!

I had a bit of a moment this morning. I had planned my meals for the day:

three eggs scrambled for breakfast
small cheese salad for lunch
roast chicken with veggies for dinner.

So I was at the sink, cracking my eggs into a basin and dropping the eggs into the waste disposer. For some strange reason, I started to worry about getting the sequence wrong and dropping the eggs down the waste and the shells into the bowl. So after the second egg went into the right place, I breathed a sigh of relief - and promptly dropped the third one down the waste

At this point the child in me took over in a big way - I had a tantrum! This was going to put out my whole menu for the day, I had no more eggs left and I would be hungry

So I had a piece of cheese. This meant less for lunch. I'm still not over it. When do we grow up?
