| You should move up the Rungs the way they were written to keep loosing weight. Alcohol is Rung 5 so it will be awhile after you get to OWL until you can drink again. Right now you should be concentrating on your health and not drinking when you go out with friends. Become the designated driver instead - besides being better for your body it's also easier to keep on plan. There is a limit to the amount of any alcohol you can drink as well as any other foods on the Rungs - it won't be a free-for-all when you go out. | Carole is right... you need to wait for the right rung to have alcohol, and then consume with care. Alcohol will slow your weight loss almost for sure. But... as you've reached OWL, it won't be long before you're able to have the odd drink or two.

| I actually found, ounce for ounce, that the stalling effects of wine were less than that of diet Pepsi. But then, not everyone has the same response to the same foods, so I'd be careful and definitely wait until OWL 5. |
