| Sometimes I think people are weakening because they want to be talked out of cheating and need someone to tell them what they already know but need to hear anyway. Others really do plan to cheat because they don't have the self control. ot everyone approaches this WOE with the same level of commitment to the pure plan. The results speak for themselves (and I am also guilty of this at times but I know my mental commitment wavers periodically). I wish I could be an Atkins purist but I will probably never be able to follow this WOE perfectly so I do the best I can. And when I give advice I do try to give the proper advice and not based on my own faulty path. I have found that the subject line or author of some queries is likely to set me bristling, so I pass those by if I think I may not like what I read, but being imperfect myself I try to have patience because I have had those moments myself. Now for folks who haven't bothered to even read the book, well, that's another story... |

| lol Its not about offending someone. I don't drink, so its a complete non-issue to me, but realistically, you can't center your life around Atkins! I refuse to do that, yet there is no reason that I won't be successful on my eating plan. In fact, I am. very successful and happy with my progress. What I can't figure out is why you aren't "worrying" about yourself more than what other people are doing.

| I think that we have all had our problems with living our lives to the fullest and healthiest. Otherwise, we would have it all figured out already and wouldn't be here. What is silly to you may not be silly to others. Drinking is not silly to me. It is something that I enjoy doing and will continue to do, although I will make every effort to wait for the appropriate rung. Remember, if you can't say anything nice....
