Default Call me crazy but I wouldn't eat a low-carb Reese's cup

I've noticed over the last few years that some of the foods you can find at the store are ridiculous. Companies will do anything to make a buck with their "diet friendly" foods.
Well...I was walking through the candy aisle while grocery shopping (not for me! My boyfriend has a bad snack habit) and I noticed "Low-carb Reese's cups and Hershey bars". I picked up the bag, looked at the nutritional facts and just as the bag states, there are no sugars, only sugar alcohols.
No Thanks Mr. Candy Manufacturer. They definitely aren't making $6 off of one little bag just for me to stall on a WOE that does NOT include candy!
My boyfriend, of course, says "hey! you can have those!!"
No Sir. I'd rather not stall, and I'd also rather not get a massive craving for candy/sweets/sugar that does not go away until I fulfill it.
I am just reflecting on those nasty little things, and I do feel great about picking them up and throwing them back down, then off I went to the produce section.

I agree, the garbage they try to sell is amazing...it's all about money.

Great job sticking to the plan. You get an "atta girl!"

Whether the sweetness comes from sugar, artificial sugar or sugar alcohol, it all tastes "sweet" which leads me to gobble the whole bag over a short period of time. That defeats the whole purpose of trying to kick the sugar craving/bingeing bad habits even if the ingredients supposedly don't affect my insulin levels. Not to mention the serious laxative effects that will result at the most inopportune time!
