| If you gave up caffeine and carbs, it's not unusual to get killer headaches. Feeling weak can be a symptom of the so-called "Induction flu". Could you post your menu, including quantities? Also, are you taking any supplements?

| Hi It sounds like induction flu to me. I had it quite bad during the first week, i think it lasted 3-4 days. I felt like i had no energy and felt real tired, but it passed and 1 day i woke up and felt full of energy. I just drank plenty of water and took my vitamins to get through it. Good Luck ! and congrats on the 6lb loss. |

| Well I have been taking a standard multi vitamin daily, I noticed later last nite after I posted, I exprienced these god awful pains in my legs. I read this is due possibly to the loss of electrolytes? The rapid weight loss delighted me, but also scared me. I felt as if I was going to litterally faint from my fatigue. As far as my diet goes, It varies from Hamburger Patties, Chicken Breasts, salad greens, sometimes sugar free bacon, no cheese, Because I have yet to find cheese that has no sugar. Amounts woulld be usually a couple Chicken Breasts or a few patties etc. After Years of binge eating I am just trying not to over do it, I Just eat until Im satisfied, not stuffed. I do get my two cups of salad greens (or three plus other Veggies) as well. A few good recipies would be helpful for me. Also I get about 192 ounces of water a day. It was mentioned in the book to use Magnesium and Potassium supplements, that is something I havent tried, is it just something I can pick up in my store? One more thing, I have realized I am Probably getting around 10 net carbs a day from vegtables and such, I have wondered if that is why i feel so faint, maybe its not enough carbs. I just don't have the desire to eat alot. I really dont want to quit even though this is mind numbingly uncomfortable. I no longer crave candy or sweets and my binge eating is a thing of the past, so any help to continue on would be greatly appreciated. |

| Hang in there Cupcake...you'll be feeling better soon. Check out Linda's site (in Carole's post above). The recipes with asterisks (*) are legal for induction. Your standard block cheese like cheddar, colby, even pepperjack shouldn't have sugar. Also, cream cheese is in a lot of induction friendly recipes. Good luck and welcome! |

| Are you seeing sugar on the list of ingredients or on the nutrition label under the 'carbohydrates of which sugars' section? If sugar is only mentioned on the nutrition label then it is the natural sugar (carbs) in cheese not added sugar so should be OK.
