| You will only lose another massive amount of water weight if, when you first go off plan, you put on a lot of water weight. |

| You will gain a massive amount of weight first, part of it being water as you are refilling the glycogen stores. Then you will lose that water weight when you start Induction again and lose fat in the same way as you would have lost had you not cheated. ETA: Pagliaccia was faster than me this time...

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | I think the worst thing for most people who step off the plan is that they cannot get back on. Many of us have some severe addictions to certain foods and allowing that just one taste or one meal will just send us spiralling downwards. I have been hanging around here for what will be two years in November and that is what I have seen. Many people who think sure I can do this or that just cannot and they end up falling off plan.

| So, if I hit a roadblock at the 3rd week mark and show a gain 4 lbs after losing 17, does this mean I put back on water weight? Im confused here. I haven't waivered and am curious what Saturday holds for me. |

| What do you mean you "hit a roadblock"?

| If you suddenly gained 4 lbs and you had not done anything that involved stuffing yourself with carbs - binging on artificial sugars the weightgain is very likely water retention due to hormonal changes (women do have quite a few and some of us put on 5 lbs when we are ready for our period) other times heavy exercise will make you hold on to water - too much salt the same thing. It will all flush out again.
