Just sit back and think about this for a few minutes.

After all, if you are so PERFECT, you wouldn't be here with the rest of us imperfect people.

Thanks.

Edwin

If we believed everyone was a loser or imperfect, then we would be writing posts like this "Go ahead and have your drinks. Dr. Atkins didn't know everything. heck, plenty of people drink all day long on Atkins and they still lose weight. So have your drink and enjoy it. It won't affect your weight loss at all. In fact, here's a list of the stuff I like to tipple..." And we would post those kinds of things because we know you're such a loser and so imperfect that there's no point in giving you proper advice because you're just going to screw up anyway.

None of us think anyone here is "imperfect". We don't look at any of you as losers. That's why we don't give you bad advice: we want you to win because you deserve to win--whether you believe that in your heart or not.

NO WHERE have I seen anyone here profess to be perfect. Have I had slip-ups? Yes. And I made goal. Do I go around professing that just because I had slip-ups and ended up making goal, that the rules are negotiable? NO. And I don't come here bragging about the fact that I slipped up and still made goal... I don't like slip-ups, and work very hard to avoid them.

If you do not like hearing the rules of the plan, just skip those posts. But there are a great deal of people who come to this board for support and information on the correct way to do Atkins. If you happen to be able to break the rules and still lose, good for you. However, it is irresponsible to assume that everyone who bends the rules will come out unscathed.

As we said earlier - we present the facts. What you do with it is your business.

OK, this is my last comment about this. I don't have a problem with the fact that I shouldn't be drinking alcohol at this phase and wait til OWL 5 or whatever.

My only issue was with Georgiana's response as I thought she was very rightous. That's all. Relax people.

Cute BSB!

The booze "debate" goes on everywhere regardless of diet plan.

Some good things about following a program to the letter is that you will reap the maximum benefits but more important, it is a wonderful feeling to look back and know that you are no longer a slave to any food or drink.

Something to think about.

Cant we all just get along... You all are driving me to drinking... My diet Rite that is...

We are all here for the same purpose so stop the rightousness. BTW: Just because someone might want to sip some alcohol from time to time, it doesn't make him have a problem, have a bad habit, or be an alcoholic. I probably drink alcohol 5 or 6 times a year, for real, it was just a question, didnt need the lecture or the rightousness.

Anyways, lets move on. Today was day 8 for me, so far I am down about 8 pounds, I am feeling good. For breakfast I make me some bacon and eggs, then when I get to work I get me coffee with splenda no cream, lunch is a salad with meet and cheese, drink lots of hot and cold water, dinner is some meat barbequed and then more water and then I go to bed. Oh, I almost forgot a bottle of Jack Daniels too (just kidding). Oh also one diet Rite mostly with lunch.

How's it going for you? Please Share.

Thanks.

Edwin

I ate about 12 fried chicken wings, on the hot side they were, and two 3.5 oz. NY strip steaks last night. Also I had two servings of Summer Sausage and collard greens, the Glory brand, with smoked ham hock in them. I dropped another 3 lb overnight. I was trying to slow the weight loss. I'm jumping up to OWL rung 2.

What did I do? It's not my fault but Georgiana's! She started this mess with her comment!
