| There should be no reason you can't get through a couple days of not feeling up to par. Those days are when your body first goes into keotsis (usually about 3 days into induction) and only last a couple days. If you drink plenty of pure water and eat correctly during these days you should be fine. I started exercising the first day I was on Atkins (January 5, 2009) -- I have exercised all but a handful of days since. During my 2 week induction I felt a little tired but nothing I couldn't push through. I do exercise video's (Hip Hop Abvs, Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, beginning yoga, etc), ride a stationary bike (anywhere from 5 to 25 miles a day) plus I'm on other challenges here.....I'm over 50 BTW - so if an old lady can push through so can you! Make sure you are eating foods from the acceptable food list - if something isn't on that list don't eat it during induction....induction is 2 weeks. You don't say how much weight you need to loose but if you are in the service I doubt it's much. At the top of the induction page you’ll find a condensed version of the book - (Atkins Diet Induction FAQs)(Atkins Diet Induction FAQs)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-diet-14-day-induction/77558-atkins-diet-induction-faqs.html. (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html and take it with you when you go to the store. If a food isn’t listed on the acceptable food list don’t eat it. Learn to read the label on all foods you buy - don’t just look at the “carb” number look at the ingredients list of everything and check the ingredients against your list. Just because it says "low carb" doesn't mean you can eat it. Also check for hidden sugars (learn the names used in place of the word “sugar”). Good luck.

| I think most of us exercise regularly. Make sure you get sufficient calories (this is not a starvation diet), that should be easy enough if you eat when you are hungry

| You might feel a bit weak and sluggish the first week, but since you are already exercising before starting the diet, I don't see as you would have much problems once you get going... |
