| Alcohol is allowed on Rung 5. You've made it through induction - maybe it's time to start moving up the rungs in OWL (ongoing weight loss). Here is more information on the Rungs: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ction-owl.html (Introduction to OWL) It never bothers me to be the lone sober one in the crowd - I've been doing it for years (long before Atkins) - we call it Desngnated Driver. I don't miss hangovers or nasty tasting cotton like mouth in the morning. It's not wise to jump from induction to Rung 5 -- move through the rungs slowly until you get to Rung 5. Good luck.

| I agree with Carole it is time to move onto the main weightloss phase of Atkins (ongoing weight loss/OWL) and start adding the various foods back in the order laid down to see which of them are foods you can eat regularly and still lose weight and if any of them affect your losing in a bad way and might need to be restricted or avoided.
