| Most low carb products like that are not on the market any more. They would also likely contain a lot of sugar alcohols which can be problematical. Certainly not an induction item. Sorry to be a bearer of such tough news But welcome to the forum

| Maybe it one sense it was But I think many people probably did too many of those "frankenfoods" and lost sight of the goal of being healthy -: eating whole foods without too many additives and chemicals.

| Thanks Liv I appreciate your response. I'm sitting here looking at my (delicious) Walden Farms blue cheese dressing which has 0g of sugar but an ingredient called sucralose (sounds like sugar to me!) I do really like the Walden Farms as it has a particularly clean ingredients list. I'm going to be looking for more of their products for very moderate/small portion use: http://www.waldenfarms.com/

| sucralose is Splenda. It is allowed but we are limited to 3 sweetner servings a day. I find that walden farms is sometimes just water, chemicals and thickeners. But glad you found something that works for you

| I do miss the "craze." There were a lot of weird things out there but some really good ones as well. Fortunately a few have continued. It is amazing how many items are just fine without adding the sugar or simply replacing with Splenda. A simple yet overlooked concept. I know a lot of people do not like the Atkins food but I used to love to make the shakes with the powder. Added ground flaxseed to it and loved it. What I most miss is how people were really thinking about what they put in their body. The debate was good for nutrition in general. It got people talking. After Atkins death many just pretended it all never happened yet you see pieces of his message in new advice from doctors, some other weight loss strategies, etc. Gone but not forgotten. |

| I was one of those. It seemed I had low-carb versions of all the foods that made me fat. It taught me NOTHING about eating healthy and gave me some food sensitivities to boot.
