Sit down and figure out what made you eat those things. IF it was environmental like stress, bad day at work, etc. then you have to develop strategies to cope with those stresses. Also review your menu. See if you've changed anything or added any new food that may have contributed to this. If you haven't been doing so already during your OWL, you should start taking the Blood Sugar Instability Symptom Test in the book every time you are testing a new OWL food and/or increasing your OWL carbs. That will give you better insight to your food reactions than relying on the scale or measuring tape at the end of the week.

| Stress management is difficult sometimes. Different people deal with stress differently: some people eat, some people take their frustrations on others, etc. But the aim is to find "healthy" ways to deal with stress. Go for a walk. Work out. Pamper yourself: relax in a tub, get a facial, etc. The worse thing to do is fall into the food-is-my-comfort trap.

| I feel soooooooo soooooooo soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better today since im back on track. I actually just came from the gym and i feel lovely. Working out really does help relieve stress. I did check the scale today and I put on 5lbs...well i did check in the middle of the day and for the last two days i wasnt drinking water so im assuming it is water weight. Not2late...i am actually going to have a little spa night tonight. relax in the tub, facial, mani and pedi...such a great idea!

| Learned this the hard way after re-gaining 60 of the 80 pounds I lost last year. Costly lesson and one I won't repeat again.
