| From everything I have seen on this board it is OK and I even had 2 pieces for lunch today. It is very yummy. The nutrition guidelines from KFC list it as 0 carbs. http://www.kfc.com/nutrition/pdf/kfc...ion_sept09.pdf Although...based on the ingredients list it probably is not totally legal: KFC® Grilled Chicken Fresh Chicken Marinated With: Salt, Sodium Phosphate, and Monosodium Glutamate. Seasoned With: Maltodextrin, Salt, Bleached Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Monosodium Glutamate, Secret Kentucky Grilled Chicken Spices, Palm Oil, Natural Flavor, Garlic Powder, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt), Chicken Fat, Chicken Broth, Autolyzed Yeast, Beef Powder, Rendered Beef Fat, Extractives of Turmeric, Dehydrated Carrot, Onion Powder, and Not More Than 2% Each of Calcium Silicate and Silicon Dioxide Added As Anticaking Agents. Contains Wheat and Soy. So officially I am adding this to my EMERGENCY ONLY list of items to eat. But it is YUMMY!

| LOTS of chemicals and sodium in the KFC grilled chicken. Kudos to them for trying to offer something healthier than the breaded/fried version...wish they would have done a better job with healthier ingredients though. Anyways, I tried it when it first came out and it was pretty tasty (got the leg & thigh). I'll be honest with you though...eating fast foods will certainly slow your weight loss. Just too many chemicals, questionable ingredients and a ton of sodium. That's pretty much the case with most fast foods too. They really aren't a healthy choice either. For a once in a while treat (after Induction) it probably is OK but I'd expect to see some water weight retention for a few days afterwards. Sorry to be a buzzkill.

| Question: Would the KFC regular chicken with skin and breading removed be better? I've faced this before especially at staff luncheons where the only protien available was fried chicken. I removed the skin and pulled off the clean meat to eat. I wasn't thrown out of ketosis and didn't experience a slump in weight loss. Then again, I don't do this all the time. I would think with the list of chemicals in the grilled, perhaps the fried skinless would be a better choice? |

| I have strong reservations about eating out. I will eat at Outback if family pressures me.A big ole ribeye only.If I or my wife doesn't prepare it, I am suspicious.I treat the way i eat very seriously.I don't cheat and don't want to be blindsided by not knowing what is in the food. I find plenty of choices that are zero or very low carb, but I do the preparation. |

| I picked this up a few times when it first came out and I loved it...thought it was a real good find...then, I saw the ingredients and I was almost ill from seeing the list of chemicals, I've never had it since. |
