Default Weigh In -

What time of day is the best time to record an accurate weight.
I nomally check my weight in the morning but when I look at my weight at nite my weight goes up ...

I'm keeping a weight log and want to know, which one is more accurate to track weight loss.

Morning or evening weigh in?

I only weigh myself first thing in the morning...just because that is when my weight is the lowest. I don't know that the time matters so much as the consistancy of doing it at the same time.

I weight in the morning after my trip to the bathroom to "wake-up". I try to do it only a few times a week though,

Morning is best because your nighttime weight is dependent on how much water is in your system, what you have eaten, sodium intake, etc. Plus, its always nicer to weigh at the time of day that weighs the least! Do keep in mind that weight loss is not linear and the scale will go up and down if you weigh daily. Once a week (or even less) is better for your morale.

Since my hours are not standard, I weigh after I have been sleeping at least 8 hours, (which turns out to be around 3pm)... My body is empty of everything and hopping naked on the scale just seems natural at that time of day...

My favorite time is in the morning just after I wake up and use the restroom but before my shower. Heck I even make sure the bellybutton is free of all that heavy lint. hahaha

lol ... at the belly hair .... well i normally weigh in the morning also .. nekked or w/ panties and bra on ... Tomorrow is my first 2 weeks on Atkins and I only lost about 5 pounds ... I was expecting to lose more .. almost am getting discouraged - i know i know it's still way too early - but i told myself i would keep going - it's a struggle though !!
