| I'd love to join you but, in my experience, setting dates for goals just sets me up for failure. So, I'll gladly join you in promising to (a) be on plan as of Halloween and to be (b) lighter by some amount, whatever it is.

| Have to agree with Slapshot! While losing almost 1/2 pound a day isn't unrealistic, your body might have other plans along the way. The best goal is, as Slapshot wrote, to be "on plan" and to be lighter by any amount. And ... even if you should stall, being "on plan" is still a great goal!
