And since it's a gift to you ... you can do WHATEVER you want with the gift ... including throwing the gift out. Ok, you didn't do that. My advice is to make the next bite you eat Atkins ... and put this moment in the past. However ... you need to figure out WHY you did what you did ... and what your PLAN will be the next time it happens. Continue on with your day. | Thanks people! I was probably looking for an excuse to sabotage. What to do next time is a tough question because in the past when I have regifted or thrown out gifts like that, I have always panicked after and gone out and bought more. I'm a sugar addict, I would say no if offered but if it just lands in my lap as a gift I cannot work out what to do with it. So I just hope I will not have such problems when I am over the first few days and cravings are hopefully gone

| You did a kind and neighborly thing and your sweet neighbors acknowledged your kindness sweetly - How Nice! I don't know - really good chocolate is probably one of the few things - if not the only thing that would mess me up big time - so i can really empathize with you. Good for you for getting right back on track - this is so key in being successful IMHO. I know that we do Atkins by the book, but we're all still human and these things happen --your REACTION -geting right back in- is more important than anything. I would focus on protien/fat/water today and maybe some very low carb veggies like lettuce/herbs/ cucumbers. Stick with it!
