It happens... Some choices can be pulled apart and the carbs discarded (a sandwich minus the bread, pizza minus the crust) in a pinch. Most snack machines where I work at least have peanuts without the sugar coating. I think I'd rather go hungry, though, than risk losing all I'd worked so hard to achieve.

Wait and eat when you get home, but this should underline the importance of planning ahead. I would get some menus from places around that deliver so you could have something legal sent if need be and plan to take some snacks to get your through the day next time this happens. Even in Induction I would keep 22 almonds in a bag. They are not Induction friendly, but in an emergency they are low carb and have enough fat to hold you over. This is also one time when maybe keeping an Atkins shake at the office just for emergencies might be a better choice than skipping a meal or eating junk.

Ahhh planning, one of my many deficiencies I only have an hour to go now, so, lots of water (can you have too much water?) and a few cups of tea till i get home. I will buy some stuff to carry in my bag from now on so i dont get caught out again. How much water do most of your drink a day? I am going through a out 3 litres.
