| Mom you just have to fight through it and remind yourself why you are doing this. The cravings will get better. Since you did give in, you need to start induction over and start back on day 1. At least that is what I was told in the past. This is what I did and this is coming from someone that is a big sweets fan: IN the beginning I just said ok meal time to myself, ate my atkins meal, and then moved on. If i Had a craving, I would jump on this board and read. I would go for a walk and drink lots of water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After about 5 days I was not craving anything and felt great. Also make sure you are exercising and taking vitamins. YOU CAN DO IT!!

| Yup its back to day one for me...but thats okay...as long as i climb back on the wagon and not fall off again just keep on truckin'? And I will just be more prepared when the cravings hit...i was'nt prepared mentally this past week and that alone is a problem in itself...i really believe alot of it is mental! Thanks for the encouragement |

| Today was our weigh in day. I have lost 7 pounds. I'm pretty happy, although today has been more hard than others. I seem to not be able to get satisfied. Bottomless pit if you will. I hope tomorrow returns me to the previous feeling that I'm quite full and not thinking of foods I can't have. Sigh My husband is also doing this with me. He just started a little later than I. He weighed in at 385 back in August. During the month of September he did the 21 day Daniel fast with our church, he lost 23 pounds. This week he has lost 3 bringing his total to 26 pounds so far. I'm SOOO proud of him. I am noticing that we are both a little edgy and ill. Is this typical for those of you on Induction? Physically I am feeling better-all except for the tension headache that still hasn't turned loose of me. I'm pretty sure it's from caffeine withdrawals and I'm not feeding it any longer. I am drinking a cup or two of decaf a day instead. I'm praying it leaves SOON.

| I'm looking to lose 40 total (but that's assuming the first ten actually come off!) I'd love to be your diet partner~! I'm new to this. Have you tried atkins before?

| I'm going in goals of ten lbs.... starting at 173... celebrate at 163.... 153... etc... Sky's the limit! I've never lost weight before (nothing over ten lbs) but I gained thirty lbs this year so it's time for me to do something about it!

| Do you drink a lot of caffeine? I read that during induction you should refrain from drinking to much caffeine because it can lower your blood-sugar levels... which would increase the likelihood of having sugar cravings. And the bottom line is when you want something, GO DO SOMETHING ELSE! Thats what I have to do, although I did give in to a hershey kiss today (so bad... so bad...) but I think its because I had so much caffeine this morning. I'm shooting for ten lbs... for my first goal. I hope induction will do that for me! Good luck, I'll be c hecking in! Angie

| Good mornin ladies...How is everyone's saturday?? Just wanted to check in with everyone. Good to see somemore join the group. My exercise today was my wii fit - I am quite sore from yesterday and had to push through today. My goal today is to also get in ALL my water. I hate water so everyday is a struggle for me in this department. I am also making me a induction friendly cheesecake today I hope everyone has a good saturday!!
