Looking for a buddy that needs to lose 40-50lb???

Hi I am looking for a buddy on here that wants to team up with me on this journey! Having someone hold me accountable who is on the same page as me i think will be a HUGE key to success for both of us or ALL of us!! I AM going to lose 40lb before March 2010...thats it! I am sick of living like this..prisoner to food!? Thats crazy! Only I/WE can make it happen for ourselves and DO IT for ourselves!! WHO wants to join me and lets make this happen once and for all!!!???

About me - I am 34, live in Georgia with four children (1 boy and 3 girls) and my hubby who is also on the boards. I had to takke a break due to surgery and just got back on it..

Jackie is your two your old in the terrible two's? I have a 2 year old that is in that awful stage right now!!

She will actually be three in January and I hope by then she losses some of that attiude! LOL

You are lucky, mine just turned two and the attitude can only get worse I hear. But they are so worth it. Will be working on a second….after the wedding of course J

I have four total. Two girls ages 12 and 9, one boy age 4 1/2 and then of course my almost 3 year old daughter. I had a hysterecomy at age of 32 due to health issues so I am done in the baby department. Now I am working on me.

I want to get down to 120 and then I am off to get me some plastic surgery. That is just something I want to do for myself. Not everyone wants that but for me - I do and I am saving as we speak!

I had to take off three weeks due to surgery back in Sept and now back on induction to get myself back in the game. I lost 13 pounds on induction in August and I hope I start back moving on the inches and scale lost.

One piece of advice - TAKE WEEKLY Measurements! It is worth it to see the inches go down when the scale does not....

You can do it. I need to lose, at most 15-20 lb so I won't count. My sig pic is small because I haven't taken one of myself large enough to post yet. That pic looked fine in facebook, though. I started a bit over 265 lb, and when I finally started induction, I was at 245 lb. Currently, I'm around 189 lb. I'm beginning to look like a bodybuilder / strength athlete. I counted everything I ate and worked out intelligently. If I can do it, so can anyone on this forum. The best of luck!

You'll probably be close to your goal by Xmas, if you are dilligent and dedicated.

I would love to join in also. I am currently (or way before induction began) at 195, I want to get down to 140, maybe a little lower. So that would be 55 pounds.

I have three daughters, the oldest one is 19, married and in college full time. I homeschool the other two , ages 13 and 8.
