Its a waiting game. Right now you have to decide to be more stubborn than your body and wait it out. Your carb monster is trying to tease you off plan by holding back the whoosh. DOn't let it. Hang in there and be stubborn and the scale will start moving again. The one thing you know for sure is that if you leave the plan it will also move--in the wrong direction. Hold fast.

Jill...yeah thats what I am going to do...this morning I am now at a 2 pound gain...even after some double excercise....for some reason if I start the day out with bacon and eggs it usually means success, so thats what I am going to do....what I should do is not weigh myself for a few days.. but of course I am scale addicted LOL....but you right I am going to hang in there.....I just want the weight off as of last week....

I don't know if it works this way for you, but I FREQUENTLY get a short pause (several days to a week, sometimes longer) plus a few pounds gain right before I lose daily for most of a week. Hope it works out that way for you, too. And exercise sometimes makes me hold an extra pound or so of water temporarily, I suppose extra fluid needed to build up muscle tissue or whatever.

It's still all good! Drink a little extra water if you are on the low side - it will work itself out shortly.

Always, check this out for about a week and a half we have had a mouse in the house behind the fridge...so I have stayed in my bedroom with just water until someone came home at night... and ate one meal a day...I was scared out of my mind to be in this house by myself.. anyway so I lost 7 pounds... and your right..because after a big weight loss I do stop losing for awhile....its still frustrating as I have a ton of weight to lose....you are so right on...

I wonder if any grants are available for a study on how having a mouse in the house can aid weightloss?

LOL, I guarantee that mouse is more afraid of you than you are of it... I had them as pets for years as a kid, they were really quite sweet. I sure wouldn't let one hiding behind the fridge get between me and a nice steak, LOL!

I take it then you wouldn't have appreciated my pet tarantula any more than you would have my pet mice... ;-)
