| In another thread, you were saying something about cassava. How were you cooking that pre-Atkins? Maybe someone has an idea for a substitute, using low-carb veggies.

| I agree with a previous poster - Since starting this WOE I actually crave veggies. I was NOT a veggie eater before. You may find that they taste better now than they did when you were eating sugar. I actually caught myself in the produce section saying ohhh yum- look asparagus is on sale! NEVER would have been so excited before! It has been fun getting creative too, cruise into the endless induction recipe's and look at what people have done with veggies! You just have to do it! Just pick something you know you dont hate and cook it up and try it (smother it in melted butter if you aren't sure)! Good luck - its worth it, plus you will go to the bathroom better! |

| I also do not like vegetables. And is very hard for me. Do you like cucumbers? Or pickles? I make a salad with sliced cucumbers, Just a slice of tomato(cut in very small peaces) and sour cream. |

| ROFL!!! Sneaky... For veggies, I've found that quiche with broccoli and tomatoes lasts a good while. You could also make a low carb shepherd's pie with mashed fauxtatoes topped with cheese. There's a recipe for that on Linda's low carb menu site, it's delicious.
