| Something else. If you consider you need to lose weight, then, in my opinion, you should be doing Pre-Maintenance, not Induction or OWL.

| If you're already in a healthy weight range, you might want to consider pre-maintenance as Georgiana said, but include a good exercise routine to tone up. It might also get rid of the mini tire you mentioned. OWL rung 2 for milk... but you can also use watered down cream as a milk substitute if you don't want the lactose in milk. Happy toning up... I'm sure you'll do very well.

| Sorry to say this, but if your weight is in the healthy range it sounds like the gym is more likely to take care of the spare tire than your diet. Losing weight will not help you tone up. There are lots of thin flabby people here in China. They aren't big exercisers. I am a lot bigger than all the folks here but I look tighter and less flabby than lots of folks but it is from the exercise not Atkins. |

| I am not doing atkins only because I want to be toned, actually, i always base my diet on nutrition. If i am getting all my vitss, efas, protein, this stuff matters the most to me, I dont believe in low fat diets, as we need fat for fat soluble vitamins..atkins kind of fit in to my philosophy plus I already exercise. I just want to lose 10 pounds plus, and exercise alone cant do that. I never ate bread, rice anyways because I know I am sensitive to carbs, my dad is diabetic and I am a bit insulin resistant. I have always been on a lower carb diet and I hope that by doing atkins I will lose the last stubborn pounds. And I believe diet is the best way to get rid of belly fat, for example if I was on a high carb diet , no matter how much I will exercise, I will still have that belly fat. Chinadoll, i get what you mean about the small skinny fat asians, I lived in Macau all my life, which is in China,I think theyre body shape is really attractive because they seem to be effortlessly skinny. hehe |
