| Yes, I have done it even in Disney World. Although they may have marinades and things you might not be able to keep track of, if you stick to salads and bunless burgers, etc. you can make this a pretty induction friendly week. Can't go too wrong with steak, broiled fish in lemon butter, caesar salad no croutons, bacon and eggs for breakfast. Many restaurants are very good about leaving off sauces and subbing veggies for fries, etc. Just let them know what you need. |

| I lost 2lbs in Disney world. Lots of bunless cheeseburgers and lots of walking. A steak dinner here and there. P.S. The half-and-half is not allowed on induction (it's half milk). Heavy cream is OK instead.

| I usually wait until vacations are over to start on the diet... that way I have the best chance of being successful, especially in the beginning when everything is more difficult with the 'flu' and all... |

| Hi Nikki, Yup, the first few days are a little hard--my DH and I were a bit (ha!) snippy with each other! It gets MUCH easier, really it does. I certainly don't claim to be an expert, but I was just about as addicted to cards as one could be--a major candy binge-er! That carb craving has completely gone away after a month, and really was gone, except for an occasional "wanting", after the first week. We did go out of town for 4 days the 2nd week, and took veggies, hard boiled eggs and cheese in a small cooler for some meals. That really helped alot. For dinner we mostly ate at restaurants that had fish or steak. Wasn't too bad. Good luck on your vacation--you CAN do it!!
