| Glad you figured it out! I have 3 different types of meters, and two do not require calibration. I forget to calibrate the other one once when I opened a new box of strips and got a 500 reading. At 47 you would definitely have been shaking and sweating and feeling the butterflies. Glad you weren't low. Really glad you didn't panic and eat lots of sugar.

| OMG, you can't imagine the things that were racing through my head...sure, there was the panic that I was dying, but in a very weird turn, I was MORE worried that my doctor would take me off Atkins and stick me on some portion-controlled, low-cal crap diet and I'd gain all the weight back. I guess that means I'm fully engrossed in this WOE! |

| I am glad you didn't worry about it too long before finding what had caused the low reading ![]() Don't leave it too long to get your rings resized I thought I had lost one of my treasures a few years back when I noticed I was not wearing it while out shopping. I was sooo relieved to return home after being out a couple of hours to see it still on the ground!! What a lucky escape - so I got it resized the very next day. Nearly lost over a thousand pounds in one day - not an Atkins-loss to be wished for
